Why is it that every thing seems predictable , preordained in the world so much so, that one feels a complete lack of enthrallment?
Our ability to laugh or gush or feel the goosebumps … has dulled.
We seem to have lost the gift of feeling the “wow’ factor in our everyday lives .
The last few decades have changed the world forever with its lightening speed of innovation.
The Age of innovation
The cyber revolution , the information explosion, internet , technology, metaverse AI , bullet trains, robotic surgeries, space exploration , transplant , stem cells ….. it’s absolutely mind boggling .
The human race has exceeded expectations when it comes to the quantum advancement in every field . And yet we distractedly ask .. “ what next ! “
As a thinking , feeling species, blessed with the most extraordinary sensory perception, we ambulate through our “made to order” lives like numb zombies. Lost in the Carnival of Life …

We seem to have traded these micro moments in life for the bigger, wider , macro opportunities. It’s almost like we are little kids who got so overwhelmed by the daily spectacle around us, that we let go of the guiding hand of a loved one and are now lost in this ongoing carnival of life .
While this was inevitable and predestined , I just wish we could reclaim our ability to be pleasantly surprised by a thing or event and go into raptures of ecstasy!
